After watching every (or all I could stand) of the Chocolate Rain videos, I headed over to Linkin Park (my current favorite band) and watched all their videos. And then, cool, here’s a video of my nephew’s band: Limelife. Good music, and a fun video. Please say something nice.
Chocolate Rain
It’s been awhile since my last post. Not that nothings been happening; quite the opposite. Too much to talk about.
But I had to stop a minute to talk about Chocolate Rain. I don’t get the popularity of the youtube video, actually. It’s a love it or hate it kind of thing, and I’m stuck right in the middle. I think it’s a terrible song, and an unspired video, but I think it takes a lot of guts to do your own thing and put it out there for public critique.
There are a couple of parodies, however, that are priceless. Like:
When I first heard about the song, but hadn’t seen the video yet, I thought chocolate rain was about raining, you know…chocolates. Imagine my disappointment. I guess, because of that, the first parody is my favorite.
